Oakmont Country Club: 3100 Country Club Dr, Glendale, CA 91208
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
As summer transitions to fall, I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the beautiful month of September. Time seems to be flying by, and before we know it, the year will be drawing to a close. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to see many of you before winter arrives.
I’m thrilled to announce our upcoming event, which promises to be both insightful and valuable. On Sunday, November 3rd, we have the honor of hosting Dr. Mahmoud Torabinejad, who will deliver a presentation on the Do’s and Don’ts of Endodontic Microsurgery. Dr. Torabinejad’s expertise as a leading lecturer, clinician, and researcher in this field is truly remarkable, making this a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable insights directly from him.
Please mark your calendars and register for this event at your earliest convenience. You can easily register and pay online at www.endoscae.org.
I’d also like to take a moment to extend special recognition to our dedicated Board of Directors, Dr. Nishan Odabashian, and Dr. Jason Phan. Their tireless efforts and commitment have been instrumental in shaping our initiatives and ensuring the success of our programs.
Thank you all for your continued support of the SCAE. We are excited about the upcoming meetings and look forward to your participation. As always, we welcome any suggestions you may have to help us enhance the value we provide to our members.
Please note: Our next meeting, scheduled for February 2025, will be on Lasers in Endodontics. We will provide more details in the coming weeks.
Warm regards,
Sharon Lu, DDS
President, 2024-2025 - President’s Letter 2024
Dear Members,
I am excited to announce that we will be having our upcoming meeting in 2024 with Prosthodontist Dr. Harel Simon. The conference will occur on March 9th, 2004 at 8am at UCLA Faculty Center.
I have asked Dr. Simon to focus on two crucial modern restorative issues. He will cover minimally invasive restorative options for endodontically treated teeth (crowns required?) and restoring severely compromised teeth for patients who want to save teeth “at any cost.”
He will be presenting much more in this 4-hour lecture. For more details, please take a look at the attached flyer. He is also requesting cases that you may have questions on. Please send them to this email, and I will forward them to Dr. Simon.
The meeting is open to all restorative dentists, so please invite them to this important meeting. As always, your input is valuable, and I encourage those interested in SCAE board leadership positions to apply.
Please mark your calendars and register. Early discounted registration ends on January 31st, 2024. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I look forward to seeing you all at the meeting.
Best regards,
Jason Phan
- President’s Letter 2023
I hope this letter finds you well and that you are celebrating the New Year. As we reflect on the past and move forward, I am excited about the upcoming year as we plan to provide opportunities to expand our dental knowledge base and reconnect with old friends.
The past few years have presented significant challenges, but your SCAE board has created an outstanding program. We hope members continue to find value at these meetings.
You all are in for a real treat! On February 25th, we will host Dr. Pascal Magne, discussing Biomimetic restorative concepts tailored for Endodontists. Please feel free to invite your restorative dentists, especially since they get a reduced guest fee of $100. Remember, you can view our future meetings online at endoscae.org and pay online.
Your Board of Directors: Dr. Cynthia Tatsuda as Program chair, Dr. Brandon Seto as Treasurer, and Dr. Sharon Lu as Membership deserve distinction for their time and hard work.
Thank you for your continued support of the SCAE. We look forward to seeing you at the meetings! As always, we are open to your suggestions as we work together to increase the value for our members.
